Getting to your doctor

We don’t want transportation issues to stand in the way of getting the healthcare you need. As a Healthy Blue member, you can get transportation through Access2Care to: 

  • Doctor appointments.
  • Dental and vision appointments.
  • Lab visits.
  • Urgent care visits.
  • Pharmacy visits.
  • Other medical appointments.

Scheduling a ride

You should request all rides at least three days before your appointment. To schedule a ride, call the Access2Care number for Kansas listed below or schedule your ride online. They are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time.

 

Be sure to have this information ready when you call: 

  • Your Healthy Blue member number. It’s on the front of your ID card.
  • Pickup and drop-off addresses.
  • Appointment type.

 

If you need to cancel your ride, you must call Access2Care at least 24 hours before your pick-up time. Please note that these services are not managed by Healthy Blue. They are directly managed by Access2Care.
